This 200 square meter apartment has 4 air condotioned double bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms, features a fully-equiped kitchen, 2 living rooms, dining room, terrace, and a spectacular view over the Atlantic Ocean. The building has a 24 hours security doorman. It is located in the touristic neighbourhood of Barra with many restaurants and bars, among them several GL. The Gay beach of Porto da Barra is within 5 minutes walk and the Historicl Center, the Pelourinho is within 15 minutes by bus or taxi. This apartment is also perfect to assist the famous Salvador Carnival, being only 2 blocks from the circuit. It can accomodate up to 8 people in 4 bedrroms (3 bedrooms with double bed and 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds). If you are a smaller group, we offer the
option of renting omly 2 or 3 bedrooms.

Set right in the heart of Barra, just a minute from the beach, this exquisite residential house has been transformed by loving owners into a comfortable, modern, pristine guest house for discerning travellers.
With nine rooms, the pousada caters to groups or single travellers. Each room has its own bathroom, refrigerator, TV and a ceiling fan or airconditioning. We also have a 2 bedroom suite with bathroom, balcony and refrigerator which is ideal for families or small groups. Internet access in the lobby for guests.
Barra has some of the finest beaches in Salvador and is ideally positioned for visiting the Pelourinho (historic centre). There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops within walking distance. Shopping Barra the main shopping mall is a 10 minute walk. We are 100 mts from Salvador's main gay club and bars and a 10 minute walk along the seafront to the gay beach at Porto da Barra. Public transport is very good with buses to every part of the city and taxis on every corner.
Barra is one of the two main Carnaval routes in the city and the pousada is just around the corner from the Farol da Barra (lighthouse) which is the centre of the Carnaval activities. Salvador's New Year celebrations (a spectacular firework display and outdoor concert) also take place at Farol da Barra so we are also ideally located for this unforgettable event.
Our breakfasts, served between 8 and 12, are a feast. We use fresh natural ingredients - freshly squeezed fruit juices; fresh tropical fruits; free range farm eggs; farmhouse cheese and butter; homemade jams. Our friendly staff offer a personalised service. Our English speaking receptionists will do their utmost to give you all the information and help to make your stay in Salvador memorable.
